What do I have to do in terms of maintenance for my functional device?
One clean a day
Splints require daily maintenance, for example in the morning. Simply wash one with a toothbrush and a little toothpaste, rinse it under running water and dry it well before putting it back in its case (otherwise it will smell bad).
If it has fallen on the ground or if an animal has licked it, simply plunge it in boiling water for a few minutes.
Once boiled, it may appear more opaque, this is normal, it is a deposit of limestone. It will regain its shiny appearance after a little cleaning with a toothbrush and non-aggressive toothpaste.
